The Georgia Society of Healthcare Engineers is a state wide organization that provides and shares technical and managerial information regarding the operation and maintenance of hospital physical plants as well as safety and security and emergency management. We also provide education on code compliance in all aspects of NFPA, NEC, life safety and Joint Commission.
The Georgia Society of Healthcare Engineers is an organization that greatly benefits its members. Our objective is to give you tools and information you need for growth and enrichment in your career. At present, we have approximately 200 members which provide a rich resource of information for healthcare engineers of small or large facilities. Our organization draws from these resources to provide seminars pertaining to technical and managerial aspects of healthcare engineering. These seminars are offered at no cost to our members.
The organization meets quarterly on the second Friday in the months of March, June, September, and December, at the Little Ocmulgee State Park Conference Center in McRae, Georgia. Meetings start at 9:00 am and are over by 1:00 pm except in March. The March meeting is a two-day education/trade show meeting at the Park in McRae. These meetings are a great opportunity for you to network with hospital engineers and vendors who support healthcare facilities and our organization.
